What do I need to open it?
Excel 2010 or later, the free Excel for the web, or Google Sheets (upload it to Google Drive and open it). It uses only functions all three share.
Does it pull live prices?
No, on purpose. It doesn't connect to anything or need your wallet address. You type in your own numbers, which keeps it private and means it never breaks when an outside service changes.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. You can cancel and get a full refund within 14 days of buying. Email hello@beforeitrugs.com with your order number. We handle refunds ourselves, and if a file is faulty or won't open we'll fix it or refund you.
Does it work out my tax?
No. The UK disposals sheet keeps the records HMRC expects and totals gains and losses by tax year, but the matching rules are complex. Use HMRC's guidance, crypto tax software or an accountant for your return.
Is this financial advice?
No. It's a planning and record-keeping tool. The verdicts check your own rules, not whether a coin will go up, and the example numbers are invented.
